Skilled labor trades are those associated with the construction industry. Some skilled labor trades require a license before you can start working. Electricians, plumbers and those engaged in specialty fields are some of the trades that require a license. Depending on the requirements of the state where you want to practice your field, a skills and aptitude test is usually given. The worker has to pass these tests before he can obtain a license.
