Government Jobs Information

Government – federal jobs are high in demand. As an employer, the federal government hires many different people for different jobs, including intelligence analysts, electrical and mechanical engineers, registered nurses, IT specialists, policemen and air traffic controllers.

Working for the federal government could be quite satisfying too. Every day, more than 18,000 of jobs are given out for many people to fill. The problem is with the skills needed to be hired into one. Most federal government jobs would require skills that you couldn’t get anywhere besides a school. This makes it harder for people to apply. Professional employees get more salary than those who are not, and government – federal jobs are easier to get when you have a bachelor’s degree.

Here are some of the top-paying federal government jobs, and what people with these jobs get paid to do:

Intelligence analysts are those that plan against terrorist attacks and state panic. They are paid handsomely as they could get around $100,000 every year on their jobs if they are good enough to stay on it. More than 80% of these people receive health benefits and are male. These people are skilled in computers and administration, though tactics and military intelligence training is needed too.

Mechanical and electrical engineers work for as much as $86,000 and $98,000 respectively. Both of these professions need licenses before you would be allowed to practice your profession on the field of the federal government. More than 90% of these engineers are male and a lot of them receive health benefits that are helpful for the nature of their jobs. The only way to be in these jobs is to at least have a bachelor’s degree in electrical and mechanical engineering.

Most people do not know that air travel has traffic too. The size of planes and jets make it hard for them to be in close contact. Air traffic controllers are people who manage when a place should take flight or land, and he decides when it would be safe for a plane to start flying. This is a very challenging career, but it is also one that pays well too. Air traffic controllers gain a minimum of $31,000 and a maximum of $137,000 a year. Now you might notice the huge difference in this salary range, and you might want to choose government – federal jobs that could pay you somewhere in the middle or in the higher end of this range.
