It seems more like its just about getting any job possible. So take a minute and figure out what the best fit is for you and get out there. Easier said than done but persistence is a key strength that all employers are looking for amongst the many other job specific skills for example welding.
Getting your name out there is just the first step and getting your face out there will generally get you closer just like in the previous years of our fathers and grandfathers a deal was only to be made by the shake of the hand and direct look into the eyes.
